Keryn founded KLT Architects Ltd in June 2021, bringing with her over 20 years of architectural experience.
Before starting the practice, she worked with Don Jamieson Architects in Wellington and spent some time working locally in Marlborough. Over the years, Keryn has developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful, well-crafted design and the impact it can have on everyday life.

She’s passionate about creating spaces that are truly tailored—balancing each client’s needs, style, and budget. Known for her hands-on approach, Keryn is committed to delivering high-quality, seamless results and believes that the best outcomes come from open, collaborative relationships throughout the design process.

When not squirreling away at her business, Keryn enjoys working on her garden and travel adventures with her family.

Abi Balasoglou

Spatial Designer/Colour Consultant

Abi brings a strong background in spatial design and colour consulting to KLT Architects. She previously worked with Warren and Mahoney Architects in Wellington before stepping away to focus on family life. After relocating to Blenheim, she returned to the design world with fresh perspective and renewed passion.

Abi is interested in conscientious building, and the well-being impact of meticulously considered spaces. She’s driven by the idea that good design can genuinely improve the way people live, and she enjoys working closely with clients to bring that vision to life.

Outside of work, Abi likes to get into nature wherever possible, as well as being actively involved with the local theatre scene.

Wendy joined KLT Architects Ltd in August 2021 to assist Keryn in all things administration and marketing. Wendy has a background in marketing, having also spent 20 years working in Wellington.

Wendy keeps the office ticking over and supports Keryn and the team through administrative tasks to ensure they have what they need in order to focus on what they do best - designing and detailing.
